Our heritage

Ogier's presence in Ireland came to market as a result of a merger with Dublin-based commercial law firm Leman Solicitors LLP in March 2022, resulting in a combined firm offering legal services to the Irish market. The original firm was established in 2007 with particular strengths in corporate, real estate, employment, financial services, dispute resolution and restructuring for Irish based clients. John Hogan, one of the founding partners, is among Ogier in Ireland's senior team. In 2025 for the eighth year running the firm was named as a Great Place to Work Ireland in the Best Mid Size category. 

Traditionally, Leman Solicitors promoted bravery, excellence and humanity as its core company values, today Ogier in Ireland retains these values throughout its service and offerings, as well as its many CSR and charitable activities, including the annual Ogier Challenge event.
